  • Step 4: Get Your DCR Permit

One of the most important parts of hosting an event on a DCR beach is obtaining a Special Use Permit. Check out our step-by-step guide on how to apply for a Special Use Permit on DCR’s permit portal below.

  • Step 5: Conduct Outreach

Every event needs a good outreach plan. To learn how to get your community members to your event, follow our How To: Outreach guide below.

It gets HOT in the summer!

Luckily, the Boston Water and Sewage Commission (BWSC) and the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) both offer FREE mobile water trucks in the summer.

Once you know your event date and location, simply click the links below to submit a request for their water trucks. Reservations fill up fast, so put your request in soon! One of their team members will drop it off, set it up, and pick it up on the day of your event.
